BNP PARIBAS :
MILLIONTREES NYC GREENHOUSE
CHALLENGE
BNP Paribas came to UCG Marketing challenged to coordinate a creative means of showcasing support and involvement with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s MillionTreeNYC Program. A program designed to educate New York consumers about the importance of planting and preserving trees. In addition BNP wanted to implement an easy mode for consumers to donate to the cause online.
- Secured Greenhouse space in high traffic areas in NYC including Union Square, McCarren Park, and Columbus Circle
- Fabricated a customized portable Greenhouse integrated with “green” features in all aspects and surrounded by museum-like exhibits, which displayed MillionTreesNYC key facts
- Entertained and educated consumers about the importance of being green, as well as BNP Paribas’ role in the initiative
- Utilized laptops onsite for donations via the BNP website for more trees to be planted in NYC
SOLUTION
- Executed seven events within one week throughout New York City
- Attracted special celebrity guests to Greenhouse including Bette Midler and Blue Man Group
- Over 650 donations received, 1,865 event visitors and over 30,000 impressions
